Mobile Number Portability a service which is been launched in India on 20th Jan 2011. It was considered to be a greatest new year gift any government can give to it's citizen. Though it was delayed for more than 2 years. It did finally took off. My Experience with Mobile Number Portability went very rough though. I'll narrate you with all the things i've done and Problem I've faced. Jan 20th : Googled  about the steps to be followed when applying for mobile number portability. Jan 21st : I Requested my Unique Porting Code from 1900 Jan 24th : I went to a retailer got new 'Simcard' after paying 24 Rupees(  though the government claims it to be 19 Rupees only). Feb 1 : Called up Airtel customer care 1800 103 1111 ( Worst ever customer care help line ever. Change is good

I kept my promise. Now let me tell you today’s incident, I was walking in the pavement. I saw a person with blood in his hand. He was not stable. I knew he needed help. What do I do??? I ran away!!! But later after taking few steps, I was feeling guilty. Guilty because I did not help him and one of my friends got killed because he was helped very late. I stopped. I turned back. I looked at him. I felt pity on him. I took my mobile and started to dial 100. But I was again scared. Then I saw a local Public booth nearby. I took one 1 rupee coin. And I dialed 100. But to my surprise some respectable citizen had already done his job. I saw a police van passing through. I was happy, and I was jumping. Not because I was going to help some one, but a person’s life has been saved by some xyz. I realized that I was changed, only because of a promise which I made to my readers. I was changed because I was blogging . In my previous pos t I was terrified by our Indian Police system, and due to a hu...

Indian Police (Devil in Disguise)

This is for some thing which people would very rarely encounter in their life . So as a matter of fact even I did not encounter it, though I do want to write something or the other and express my feelings for some one .  I clearly remember that on 03.04.09 after the college timings I met one of my friends Parish ( Initially I knew him as one fellow from CSE but after the culture's RAPTURE-09 . I have seen him closely. And eventually turned to good friends ). We had a descent conversation, and finally I left for the bus, because it was getting late.  On the next day I had plans with one of my school friends and I went there for some important work. On the mean while I got a message from Rahul that some one from second year passes away in a accident do I know who is he ( I was shell shocked, who could he be ) ??. I didn't want to disturb my conversation with my school friend and continued with the work. Then I received a message from some one that Parish of CSE met wi...

Chennai-Open but Marina Still Not

Chennai Open 2009 has been succesfully kickstarted , It's attended by many foreign Player to make this event a grand success the authority have fully prepared with all sort of security for the visiting foreign guest..  People coming first time to Chennai came to know about the power of  Rich Traditional Influence in various parts of the city . But the Chennai Tourist Hot-Spot Marina Beach is Still under a Make over which makes the sight a little less significant though. People from all over the world  if visit Chennai, do visit Marina. It's splindid Beach Makes tourist a cool palce to hang out.  The Government (both Centeral and State) should have Thought about the issue and should have made Marina ready before the Chennai Open started..  It's completely a lack of co-ordination between the Tourism Department and the Sports Ministry. Now My question is whats the need of a Make over when the crowd for whome it's made, are going to go back in few days.
